Soft and squeezeable plastic, not hard and brittle! PERFECT for what I needed (which is totally different than what they're intended for). Decided I need more than six, so am re-ordering now! I highly recommend these to ice-dyers! : )These Avesfer practice wiffle balls are PERFECT for driveway batting practice. Because of the softness, they don't travel as far when your 9 year old kid hits it in the sweet spot. They also don't hurt as much when your kid hits a line drive right back at you while pitching 15 feet away. I mean, yeah, you can crush it in your fist if you wanted to. But if you grip it tight in your hand and give it a firm squeeze, it will give a little. I would describe the softness of these Avesfer balls similar to a ripe avocado. The Jugs brand balls are much more hard and durable. Jugs brand balls have the firmness of apples.These Avesfer balls are about 25% cheaper in price than Jugs brand balls. So if you tend to lose a lot of balls over the garage, in the bushes, down the street, etc, go for these Avesfer balls. 3 dozen wiffle balls in a plastic HomeDepot bucket, and you're all set.If you're seeking a bulk set of wiffle-style balls, this does the trick! These throw and hit well, but won't hurt anything. They have a collapsible frame that may dent, but pops right back out. We love having a bunch of these for more hitting before having to go fetch them. Pop these in a bag or tote and take them to the park or backyard for some fun. It’s challenging and fun. But what I hate: hitting wiffle balls for 10 minutes and then having to stop because all the wiffle balls have cracked in half. I have tried taping them back together, but it doesn’t help. I even tried taping wiffle balls up before they crack, but that doesn’t help either.That’s why these balls are so great. I just spent the entire weekend with my children hitting these practice baseballs around, and not even one cracked. It was amazing.The balls are rigid enough to throw but they flex upon impact. They probably don’t fly as far as wiffle balls do, but that’s the point.I will probably order more in the future, then I don’t have to keep yelling “ball up” after 12 hits.These are good balls. They throw fairly well, and when hit do not travel too far, so make for a great practice balls in small spaces like a driveway. I don’t crack like waffles, so are excellent for batting practice.These are perfectly fine green whiffle golf balls but I ordered white baseballs. I would give the golf balls a 5 star rating but as baseballs.... darn hard to hit!UPDATE: The seller contacted me to apologize for the mistake. They are sending the correct ones. The quality of the balls is good and their customer service is too, so a 5 star now!UPDATE #2! The balls arrived and they are perfect. The seller even followed up to make sure they were the correct ones. We are very satisfied with the product and the customer service. Our grandsons tend to lose practice balls all the time, this 12 pack is affordable and a quantity that will hopefully last awhile!
