These balls are great, I have a son with Down syndrome and he loves playing baseball in the backyard. He can throw them like a real baseball, they are heavy enough to fly but light enough that they won't hurt him when he misses it and it hits him in the face. I know this from experience. They move just like a real baseball, I HIGHLY recommend purchasing these to train kids how to swing the bat because if you hit it pure, no matter how hard you swing it will fly off the bat. If you don't hit it pure, it won't go "as far" but it will still travel. Buy these to train with, you own't break anything. Disclaimer - I have not tried throwing them against glass.
