These dimpled baseballs are fantastic in every way.They feel about the same weight as a traditional baseball, but have a rubbery feel which not only helps limit the sting of being hit with one, but also offers a pretty substantial rebound with each hit.I have 2 pitching machines that use a much lighter brand specific ball, but these balls fall in line with your more powerful 40mph+ pitching machines. A good amount of pitching machines require you use only their specific dimpled baseballs, but ones that can handle regular baseballs should be able to take these without any issue. They do not feel any different than some of the other brand name dimpled baseballs we use in branded pitching machines.If you do not have a pitching machine these are still excellent training balls. The bright colors make it easier for your little leaguer to see it when they are practicing batting, hitting off a tee or chasing it down. They are softer than a traditional baseball and less likely to hurt as much when getting hit due to its material. I feel like using these reduces apprehension of getting in front of a ball to stop it or fear of getting hit.Overall, excellent quality, durable and well-made pitching machine balls.
