These are good training balls for young ball players as they are too soft to cause any pain. Even a tennis ball will hurt if it hits you in the right spot. You cannot throw these balls with any sort of velocity as the trajectory changes dramatically. Gave a 5 star because they are advertised as training balls, nothing more and they serve that purpose well. If you plan to do any batting involving overhead throwing, get something with more weight. Otherwise these are great for working on fly balls with 4-7 year olds or soft/front toss hitting.
