I know, I know - no playing ball in the house. But these really are ok - they are soft but dense enough to throw well and pitch accurately. They do not get much velocity when hit cause they are super squishy and the ball takes most of the force from the bat. They are yellow and red which is a must for my lil softballers. They float great - soak up a bit of water but that just makes them easer to throw and catch. The water easily squeezes out. We play over the line in the pool and it is amazing fun and good practice too. We have a foam whiffle bat with a sturdy PVC core so you can really get a good wack. My daughter uses them to practice pitching down our hallway at a target taped onto her bedroom door. I do wish they came in standard 12" softball size but these are good enough. My kids love them and I have so much fun playing with them too.Perfect for teaching youngsters to swing and make contact. We use them in the front yard and they’re perfect with a wiffle ball bat to keep the flight down.They're too light for practice. It doesn't help kids practice for games.Used these at a baseball event for giveawaysIt was exactly what I was looking for.Love the balls.
